I have this great date idea and it includes sex. Specifically morning sex so I think we can all agree it’s fine. Plus, I recorded a juicy video where I guide you through the Three Breaths Mediation. This practice awakens, heals and enhances your sexual experience. Also great for the morning, especially if you wake and are in mourning, like me

I’m not sure if you’re familiar with a program called SHEROS with Carmen Holt on KUTX. The show offers wonderful conversations with musicians and artists not only about music and what inspired the individuals work but centers around inclusivity and diversity. Spotlighting one female artist a week, she introduces a newcomer or album with an interview where they discuss the genesis of content, both current and historical social matters and how they, more specifically as a woman, have navigated their career.
One night while driving home, I tuned in to hear Carmen introduce Maya Hawke to discuss her new album MOSS. The songs were inspired by a variety of circumstances, heartache, mending her familial relationships and facing off with what we will all face over and over; I don’t have it all figured out.
Start to finish, this album will serenade you and your cup of coffee.

🫂☕️ Coffee and Cream
The next time you plan a date make it coffee, but in bed. I won’t tell you that it’s not a great first date idea, though for me, coffee and mornings are sacred. There are only a few select people that have access to me before 11, let alone my bedroom. I bet you're wondering how doom and gloom can also be sexy. It’s an art and one worth mastering. When he texted asking if I had coffee I said, I do but I’d love for you to bring me drip with a little creamer. The front door is unlocked and I’m in bed… Come find me. Tangled in sheets with bed head we spent the next two hours slowing our roll with coffee, sex and conversation. Then he left and I had the rest of the day to myself.
If you have a partner and you are not having coffee and sex each morning to start your day, are you even living? Don’t tell me it’s because of the kids. I’ve been married with kids. Mornings before they are up is your best bet. Treat it like a workout and show up.
🤍 Breath Work aka The Three Breaths // A Guided Meditation
Over the course of the last year, and well most of my life, I’ve lived with a nervous system that is quick to deregulate. Like most of you, I have many disciplines that I practice to keep my mind and body in check; Running, yoga, thought work, healthy diet, micro-dosing etc. These practices help. However, they were not enough for what life was dealing me this last year. My nervous system has felt like a live wire in water. None of the aforementioned were doing a damn thing to stop me from uncontrollably crying during episodes of Nashville. I mean, sure they are story lines meant to manipulate human emotions, but this, well this was something else. I felt like I couldn’t trust my body.
In 2021 I signed up for a year-long course study in sexual healing and liberation. The intention was to deepen my expertise and offer my clients who were experiencing heartache, old wounding and resistance around sex and self love new methods to process and practice. As timing and life would have it, I found myself focused on all the shit that was happening around me and stepping away from this training.
Until one day when I was out of breath, shaking and thinking, I can’t imagine this being forever. There has to be SOMETHING I can do. I dug through my mental checklist and thought maybe a guided meditation would help. I remembered the breath work and pleasure practices I had begun learning in my program. I had this thought… I wonder if those might help me?
